Maths Book Club

July 28, 2013

This is a cool idea created by @sundayteatime and @missradder on Twitter. Essentially, the clue’s in the name but there’s a full description here on the dedicated blog www.mathsbookclub.wordpress.com.

After the first vote, the winner is Alex Bellos’ Alex’s Adventures in Numberland. I’ll be honest and say this wasn’t the one I voted for but it is one that’s sat on my bookshelf as yet unread. One of the things I like about the book club is that it will prompt and cajole me into reading some new maths books and revisiting ones that I already own.

Looking forward to the first Twitter chat about this book on 23rd October (some details here).

Better get started reading…
