Find the Factors

February 26, 2016

Times tables are important and being fluent in them is useful for a large number of other maths topics. There’s also a lot of talk about Mastery of mathematical concepts and one way to demonstrate this with the times tables is being able to use the related division facts.

To help with that, here’s a nice set of puzzles from the blog of Iva Sallay (findthefactors.com). It’s likely that you’ve seen something like it before but there are a lot here and they’re in an easy to use format. There are instructions and they’re also levelled so you can adjust them to suit your class or set challenges easily.

Here’s an example (Link for this one)

Find the fractions 759-puzzle

Try them out and let Iva know what you think on her blog!
